D-17Mid Season Championship

Crossroads MX    Mason IL

Crossroads MX in Mason held their first D-17 Mid-Season Championship race July 15 with a record number of riders.  If you missed it, you missed some exciting racing with riders dicing it out for the number one position.
Ryan Tracy shot off the line with Ted Rogers right behind him in the 250 A class. In the second lap Rogers got around Tracy and lead the moto for 2 laps before Tracy made his move to take the lead again and a win. In the 2nd moto of the 250 A, Tracy lead the class around the track for another win and the overall with Rogers a 2nd and Jonathan Jackson taking 3rd.
Kyle Corman came out to get some good riding in before heading to Loretta Lynn's National. Kyle took an easy win in all classes he rode.  Good Luck to Kyle at the National.
The plus classes have been growing at Crossroads MX and it was no surprise to see them out here for the Championship race. .  With 10 racers in the +45 class the battle was on.  Gary Adams took both moto wins but the battle was between Gerhard Ward and Steve Shank.  Steve Shank took 2nd in the first moto but when he stalled the bike in the corner on the 2nd moto, Ward got around him and held it on to the finish line for 2nd in the moto taking the overall 2nd place and Shank getting 3rd overall.
D-17 FCA Team came out this weekend. They did a prayer service in the morning and after the races, they had a good volleyball game. It's always a pleasure to have them here.

CRMX next race will be the Crossroads Classic Pro-Am sponsored by Red Bull Aug 4/5 weekend with a $3000 plus purse on Sunday. Check the website for all the details.  www.crossroadsmx.com
